Summary:

My varied industry experience and hands on involvement has afforded me the opportunity to partner the EXCO teams to efficiently manage and monitor their Financial Performance with accurate and timeous management reports and support, empowering them to make informed management decisions.

The industries I have worked in at both Senior and Middle Management Roles include;

- Property and Facilities Management gained at major industry leading organizations, for example Gensec Property Management Services {formerly Sanlam Properties (now JHI)}, Total Facilities Management Company (TFMC), Akhona-Broll Property Management, Broll Property Management Services, and most recently in the Public Sector for The Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa – Corporate Real Estate Solutions (PRASA Cres) where I have functioned as a key member at both the strategic and operational management decision level(s).

- Accounting and Auditing gained at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Gaynar Agencies where I was involved in servicing of clients in complete Financial Reporting and Analysis.

- Private Healthcare Management gained at Netcare Ltd’s Olivedale Hospital and joint venture partnership with Netcare Olivedale Oncology Centre, where as a member of the EXCO team, I was responsible for the Accounting, Client Services, Procurement, Information Technology and Credit Control Divisions.

- Manufacturing gained at the Bosun Group’s, Bosun Brick Midrand facility where I was the Financial Manager for the largest business division of the group.

- Financial Services gained at Alexander Forbes where I was responsible for the preparation of Financial Statements for leading client organisations.

- Business Support Services & Communications – where my spouse and myself successfully set-up and managed our own business comprising of two Franchises, viz. 3@1 Business Centre (sold in Sept 2013) and an Ubuntu Connect Communications Business.

Main job function
- Manage and provide monthly, quarterly and annual Financial and Management
reports in compliance with the PFMA, GAAP and IFRS for PRASA Cres to Head
Office, Auditors and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure sound Corporate Governance and compliance to all relevant financial
legislation, policies and procedures e.g. GAAP, PMF Act, Treasury regulations.
- Maintain and ensure adherence to internal controls.
- Liaise with SAP consultants and business partners in terms of data migration
from Manhattan and setting up of reporting requirements on SAP.
