Summary:

I am applying for a position in an educational setting in Canada or overseas. I am most interested in teaching Foundation courses or primary school, part-time, short-term or occasional. I have worked for over thirty years an educator, in many different grades and subjects (including teaching ESL, special education, and Aboriginal students) and attended and delivered many conferences, workshops and courses. I recently obtained a Masters of Education Degree with a focus in leadership and special education. I was a sessional instructor at the University of Lethbridge in the Faculty of Education for Teaching Seminar ED3505. I taught, prepared, evaluated and supervised education students going into their first teaching assignment.
Since August 2012, I have been working overseas in an off-shore British Columbia, Canada School in Doha, Qatar as Program Head. Some of my responsibilities include organizing and planning two weeks of Orientation, Professional Development, program implementation, teacher support and training, parent meetings, and coordination of agencies, staff and programs.
