I was also responsible for preparing publication proposals and obtaining investment sign off.

I worked closely with authors from manuscript inception guiding them in developing the material within the syllabus provided by the client. I maintained regular contact with authors. Other duties included preparing production schedules and co-ordinating activities of authors, illustrators, advisers, freelance editors and designers to ensure that work was done accurately, on time and within budget. I was involved in resolving problems and queries which emerged during the production process.
