I Learnt How Blast Furnace works and how steel can be produced. Learnt How to Optimize the Blast furnace productivity by using various parameters. How to increase the blast furnace productivity with low cost. By Using Latest Equipment Increasing the Permeability in the Blast Furnace. By increasing permeability in blast furnace the reaction rate between gases and coal increases the reduction rate of iron increases with less fuel and coke. Observed and learnt how whole plant is working with cooperation between the various other departments. In Blast Furnaces I have visited and observed different technologies in Blast Furnaces.

I Completed My summer internship project at Blast Furnace Department. I have good idea how all the department of blast furnace. Apart from that we visited Each Main Department of Vizag Steel plant and Understand how Each Department and how that equipment, process behind that very closely. I feel very excited while knowing the process. I Visited Raw Materials Handling Plant, Sinter Plant, Burden Handling systems, Blast Furnace Department, Steel Making Department, Thermal power plant, End products Department etc. I also visited quality control and analysis department, iron lab , steel melting shop lab I seen various different type of equipment. I feel very excited and enjoyed to work on that equipment. I really enjoyed my 2 months industrial training at VIZAG STEEL, Visakhapatnam, India.

Heat treatment on Mechanical Propeties of Stainless steels

Engineering materials, mostly steel, are heat treated under controlled sequence of heating and cooling to alter their physical and mechanical properties to meet desired engineering application. In this study, the effect of heat treatment
on the microstructure and some selected mechanical properties of stainless steel were studies. The steel samples were heat treated in an electric tubular furnace at different temperature levels and holding times.; and then cooled in different media. The mechanical properties and corrosion studies of the treated and untreated samples were determined.

Synergetic effect of Sodium Nitrite and Sodium Dichromate on Mild Steel

Study the Synergistic Effect of Sodium nitrite and Sodium Dichromate on the Mild Steel in 0.2 N Sulfuric Acid Environment. Literature review of inhibitors Sodium Dichromate and Sodium Nitrite.in future study the electrochemical studies like tafel extrapolation, linear polarization and potentiodynamic studies of Mild Steel in H2SO4 environment.
