In support of US Army 580th Signal Company in FOB Kunduz, Afghanistan, installed, operated and maintained AN/USC-60A Flyaway Tri-band (C, X, and Ku Band) Satellite Terminal. For Asset Management of TCF, created database of all inventories and developed rack configuration drawings using Visio.

• Manager – In support of the Galaxy INMARSAT-C system life cycle management, provided complete system spare to each of the installed sites and provided follow-on training. Provided technical direction in defining equipment and functional specifications for the AN/USC-61(V) Digital Modular Radio (DMR) program.
• Systems Engineer – Provided technical and project management support for the Navy’s complex satellite communication systems in support of both the New Construction Ships (SCN) and the Fleet Modernization Programs (FMP). Supported the next-generation Quad-DAMA systems, including AN/ARC-210 radios, MD-1324A modems, and MD-1293A(V)2/USC-42 (mini-DAMA), which replaced the legacy UHF DAMA system as an interim solution prior to migration to the AN/USQ-61(V) Digital Modular Radio. Provided complete parametric data, including heat dissipation calculations for system comparison and analysis. In the anticipation of the Talla-Com’s high power amplifier (HPA) first article testing (FAT), prepared a comprehensive AN/ARC-210, MD-1324, and HPA Test Plan that incorporated every feasible SATCOM baseband test.
