I have 20+ years of experience in the customer service/retail industry. I also have 20+ years of typing, data entry and all forms of MS Office Suite starting from 1997. I am also fluent in MS Outlook if that is needed to be used as part of the job, whatever is needed I can do. If there is something I need learn, I am not afraid to learn, and I am fast at learning new things and very open to them. I am also big a team playing, there is no "I" in team. I am also a firm believer in asking questions, and that no question is ever a dumb question, because we are always learning no matter how old we are.

Help customers find the perfect gift for their special occasion. Upsell them to premium fonts, reward cards, and 1/2 off specials with their purchase. Input customer information into the computer and take their payments via the POS system. I also run engravers that the gifts are put into to be engraved, they are hooked to a computer that uses the Gravostyle software. I also help with inventory, and shipment. At night I straighten the shop, clean, print closing worksheets, count register, and take deposit to the bank. We mostly have single coverage, so I am considered the Manager On Duty most days.

Provide security to the State, institution, and the offenders. Duties included, doing security rounds in buildings and the outside areas of the institution, counting offenders during specific count times, addressing serious matters between offenders or offenders and staff. Logging all information in the computer and printing it out for the watch commander. If reports were to be made, they were done to the watch commanders approval and handed in.

This was a seasonal job, which the owner is no longer in business. My duties consisted of hiring and letting go employees. Doing the work schedule on a weekly basis, keeping track of shipments and inventory. I would also close the kiosk down at night, print the proper paper work, count the register, and take deposit to the bank. My other duties also included helping customers find the right Christmas ornament they were looking for, and personalizing their ornament for them free hand. This was a very enjoyable job.
