Soil Scientist And A Researcher, Mphil Student
analyze and find solution to soil physical and chemical challenges to our farmers. I am involved with soil management, conservation agriculture and soil physics. At the moment, I am schooling at KNUST for my Master of Philosophy degree in soil science.
National Service Scheme, Department of Crop and Soil Science
Responsible for helping with soil physics lectures and marking. Also responsible for laboratory analysis of samples for degree and postgraduate students.
Responsible for running nutrient analysis and microbial analysis on Thaumatococcus
danieli. Also assisted in the production of Thaumatin (sweetener)
Structural Water Removal at optimal temperature
its a soil physics project which looked at making the Loss on Ignition method of assessing soil organic efficient. The Loss on Ignition method's efficiency is reduced by the presence of structural water in certain clay minerals which leads to over estimation of carbon determined using the Loss on Ignition method. However, the Loss on ignition method is a very safe and fast and cost effective means of determining organic carbon which relates to soil organic matter, an indicator of soil quality
