I. Resource Management:
I have approximately three and a half years experience in managing the human, financial and material resources allocated to the education bureau and my specific department. (Sep.2005-march 2008)

II. Planning:
Planning and coordinating the preparation of strategic and annual plans of the bureau based on the resource that comes from the government and donor agencies (Sep.2005-march 2008)
Plan in accordance to the IP of the project and implement and provide the timely feedback based on the status of the planned activities as indicated in the work schedule and based on the prevailing format of AED/EQUIP II. Prepare detailed monthly and quarterly plan and reports using the project format to the planning and mgt component and REB in the specified time. (March 2008-Present)

III. Policy Analysis:
Participated in the Promulgation and implementation of policies related to basic education, higher education (Teacher training colleges), TVETS, Adult Education, Teachers Development program, school improvement programs(I was a focal person for the Benishangu-Gumuz region for the monthly meetings of bureau heads conducted by the Ministry of Education chaired by the state minister for general education) .

Analyzing, deciding passing mark and disseminating grade 8 national examinations results to zonal and woreda education offices (sep.2005-march 2008)

IV. Project Management:
Managing project activities and budget provided by different stake holders or NGO’S like Action Aid, Oxfam, IRC, Pool funds, UNICEF and UNESCO. Monitoring and evaluation of the projects (physical sites) was made together with the stakes. (Sep.2005-march 2008)
