I am a distinguished tropical forest biodiversity specialist with lots of experience in the Kakamega Forest Ecosystem. I also chair the site advisory committee of Nature Kenya in the same ecosystem. Forest ecology, dynamics, land use changes and interactions between humans and biodiversity are my areas of interest and research.
Currently, I am researching on land use changes within the Kakamega and Nandi forest ecosystems with a view to assessing how they impact on climate change.
