Setting up NCFE APPROVED Vocational Training Centre

Set up NCFE APPROVED Vocational Training Centre. Wrote all the Quality Assurance policies and Procedures, followed all the NCFE Awarding Body requirements and was successful in getting approval and accreditation for more than 65 vocational, funded qualification.
The centre, MAXWELL WORK BASED TRAINING is doing well on the private fee paying sector, however, the centre is now looking for sub contracting work with private training providers and FE Colleges, has an excellent track record NCFE EV reports and DCS for English Functional Skills.


The aim of the Project was to provide innovative bespoke e-learning Teaching Assistant TRAINING for disadvantaged community groups with young children, to access remotely in their homes, in their own time and train at their own pace , which would enable them to achieve their desired qualification and potential jobs in schools to fit in with their work-life balance.
Co-wrote the bid to generate funding, was successful in securing £50k and then lead it as a Sole Project Manager, Assessor Trainer/LEAD IQA in successfully recruiting unemployed parents (25). and training them in supporting teaching and learning in schools (STL) Level 2 Certificate, in classrooms and secured work placements in local schools whilst training.
70% of the trained parents managed to gain part time TA jobs in the schools, 20% of the parents went on to study for a Level 3 STL. 10% of the parents stayed on to study PTLLS L3 .
Extremely successful outcome, but most of all I found it very rewarding and in gaining the parents trust, that they could combine work and childcare if they really wanted to and live with dignity instead of depending on financial support from the state.
