Other Information
I am a member of a youth club called Hindu Swayamesvak Sangh, more commonly known as Shakha, which is held all over the world. There are about 50 branches on the UK. I initially started Shakha at the age of ten in my home town of Kenya. Since I came to this country I regularly attend Shakha twice a week.
Shakha helps children from the age of five to 18 to motivate and give them confidence in life. Every year. Shakha holds a camp for children over the age of ten called Sangh Shiksha Varg (SSV), which is held in different towns for eight to ten days. Children are given the opportunity to participate in wider activites with shakha's all over the country and exercise their abilities from self discipline to team work. Within the camp, I also help prepare food in the kitchen for the camp participants and honourable guests.
