I started working in the mining industry in 1989 and worked my way up by developing myself in the ems environment. I trained as a BAA in the year 2000 and in 2006 I went to study for ILS paramedic. Since then I have been working in the mines and also attending some short courses offered by the training institutions. I also went underground to rescue the sick and the injured. As an ILS paramedic I also supervised my subordinates, record over times, leaves, duty rosters and was also responsible for fleet management.
