Daar Doer in die Fliek
Editor on the documentary of "Daar Doer in die Fliek", the documentary of KYKNET's
series about the history of Afrikaans cinema. 2nd Unit director on Joe Niemand's "Night of Light" at The Dome in Johannesburg. Edited numerous live DVD shows for Barefoot
Productions. Editor on kykNET's Getroud Met Rugby - season 4.
Actor in "Fanie Fourie se Labola", a
romantic comedy by Henk Pretorius, released in 2012. Directed the film "Hoofmeisie" and Die Kat se Snor music video, also titled "Hoofmeisie". Editor on "Daar Doer in die
Fliek", a KYKNET series about the history of Afrikaans cinema.
Was assistant editor (with Johan "Lads" Lategan) on Leon
Schuster's candid comedy film "Schucks Tshabalala's Survival Guide to South Africa". In March I started directing inserts for teenage shows such as "Craz-e", "Shiz Niz", and "Sistahood", for Red Pepper. During this year I also directed corporate films for "Velvet". Amongst other videos, I directed a music video for "Glaskas - Bring maar nog" to promote the film "Bakgat2". I wrote feature film "Lucky's Numbers", which was produced by Mzanzi Magic.

Directed music video's and corporate films for The Film Factory. Conceptualised and directed music videos and promotional videos for famous brands such as Nike, Clover, Aking (FHM), Score, MaAfrika Tikkun, REDKEN SA Fashion week, Glaskas. I also (independently) produced, wrote and directed and edited a 24min short film titled: The Crazy Fight Beast Song.

M-net for the EDiT initiative. Andre Metstrepie later won me numerous TUT, M-net EDiT and
Off the Shelf awards.
2006 In 2006 (3rd year TUT student) I wrote and directed a 24min short film titled: Spaarwiel,
which was my first film for broadcast, commissioned by M-net. Spaarwiel (the story of a
boy who has a dream of becoming a rally driver) won me numerous awards on university

I worked various jobs like waitering, barman work and carpentry and spent most of my time living in London, training and working as a chef for The Bankside Restaurant in London Bridge. I travelled solo by backpack through 14 Western European countries during my time abroad.
