Body Language premiered at the Mae West Fest and was then accepted to be a part of the Seattle Fringe Festival. The piece uses movement, spoken word and multi-media to explore how we 'dance' in the world, searching for our elusive partners and learning how to move in a body which fails to fall within the lines of a dancer's shape. Body Language was selected to receive special funding for its inclusion in the Fringe Festival.

An award-winning, internationally acclaimed company, theater simple was founded in 1990 by two actors who aim to strip the theatrical experience down to its elemental parts: the imagination of the actor and audience, the playwright's words and the director's vision.
theater simple has built a solid international reputation for producing provocative, literate, subversive, entertaining and original theatrical experiences.
Freelance Director and Instructor
theaters and schools around the globe
August 1995 - August 1995
I have directed and taught theatrical workshops in the United States and Internationally for over 13 years for both children and adults, with extended residencies in Bisbee Arizona, Sydney Australia and Adelaide Australia.
My workshops focus on building a strong ensemble, and finding ways to work collaboratively to create new works or enhance or discover the questions locked within established work.
I bring this love of collaboration into all my directing, and believe strongly that most important step in a production is placing the right people in a room together and then establishing the space in which we can discover.
