Enterprise Content Management
Co-managed the implementation of a SharePoint solution to support the Chicago Park District's initiative to go paperless. The project included design/architecture, implementation, configuration, maintenance and support of a unified Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution to be leveraged across internal
departments, as well as other external parties and systems.
Worked with various departments in Chicago Park District on over 92 processes to take forms and create them electronically for distribution within SharePoint. Analyzed and documented client business
processes and workflows. Served as main point of contact for team developing information
architecture and visual design. Performed integration testing for each process. Prepared and conducted requirements and design reviews with clients on an iterative basis. Trained client personnel on new processes. Tested fixes and obtained business approvals for moving fixes into production.
Planned, designed, facilitated and documented UAT results with business team. Some of the processes converted included Board Letters, Superintendent Letters, Risk Management Incident
Reports, RFPs, Security Scheduling, Leave Requests and employee appraisals. Excellent rapport with customer groups, management and design team. Client performed assessment and gathered metrics and determined that there was a 50% reduction in staff time for processing forms.

Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Staff and Processes
Phase I - Performed an assessment of the Chicago Transit Authority's staff and processes for
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) files to diagnose root causes of process inefficiencies
leading to a backlog of unprocessed applications. A set of recommendations was presented to Senior
Management to gain greater efficiencies, including procedures for processing the three types of DBE
files as well as metrics for tracking performance.
Phase II - managed a staff of three people to implement the improved procedures, reduce the accumulated backlog of files, and enhance reporting of status of each file. Worked with existing staff and manager to train on new procedures and input information into existing database system. The
backlog of files was processed in record time, operating under a performance-based contract. The
team received accolades from DBE applicants as well as senior management of CTA. The reduction of backlog files enabled the CTA to process new applications to meet their goals of obtaining additional
DBE certified businesses to use in projects for the Red Line.

Developed the workplan and schedule for integrating law departments from acquired companies into R.R. Donnelley. Achieved full integration of all files, assignments, invoices, budgets, etc. within 6 weeks after acquisition.
Records Management Program
Was Program Manager for Records Management Program at R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company. Interviewed and selected web vendor, worked with various departments in developing record types and retention periods for their departments. Scheduled record destruction days at various facilities to maintain compliance with program.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Assessment at Chicago Transit Authority
Reviewed documents, interviewed staff, developed workflow of current file processing and assessment of hours spent on each task. Developed and presented recommendations to Senior Management on efficiency improvements. Led a team of 3 contract staff to process backlog of DBE files so CTA staff could sign-up additional DBE vendors for upcoming Red Line project work.
Enterprise Content Management - SharePoint
Co-Project Manager and Business Analyst on project with Chicago Park District. Interface between SharePoint Developers and departments. Used iterative process with client to understand current process, developed workflows, developed User Acceptance Testing Training Guide, performed testing, developed extensive Training Guides. Converted 92 forms from paper to electronic, with workflows and electronic signatures.
