Key responsibilities
To ensure general maintenance, implementation and understanding of the • Quality procedures and site quality manuals requirements
• Ensure all the relevant system procedures and checks are in place and up-to-date
• Food standards in respect of safety, legality and customer requirements are met
• Health and safety required standards through the department are met in full
• Where necessary identify the need to initiate the implementation of new procedures/records/work instructions
• Internal and third party audits
• Pest control, GMP, HACCP implementation and monitoring, Traceability & • Ensure implementation of BRC, FSSI, YUM, PRRS, FSA, & SAMIC
General responsibilities
• Food safety, quality, and legality
• Controlling quality, training, internal auditing, aiding investigations for customer complains, ensuring remedial action are promptly taken to ensure the issue does not re-occur
• Training of the QA technicians on induction, quality and safety procedures/records/work instruction
• Running of food safety or quality trials that will support the business
• Co-ordinate customer relations, (RTV, Customer complains, quality related depot rejections, COAs etc)
• Food safety, legality and quality management system( Product specification, non-conformance reports, internal reports, internal and third party audits)
• Manage inspection of incoming new materials
• Ensuring proper training of Q.A technicians and production team to improve their knowledge required to maintain high quality standard.
