Quay Wall Superintendent, Construction of Mubarak al Kabeer Sea Port, Boubyan Island, Kuwait
Client: Ministry of Public Works, State of Kuwait
The project comprises construction of a new sea port and it’s up land facilities. The work includes construction of a new container terminal with a 2.7 kilometer quay wall, reclamation and earth work works of 1700mx1500m for the container yard and a small boat harbor of 700mx700m. The combi quay wall consists of 2.54m (front) and 1.575m (rear) diameter steel piles with sheet piling between the piles and supervision work included inspections of fabrication and welding of pile And testing of weld quality, installation of pile driving, slope protection, 6000 m, revetment and rock embankment for the break water, casting of capping beam, construction of funnel pits, installation of quay furniture including bollards, fenders, ladder, buffers, etc., installation and testing of catholic protection system for steel structures and concrete structures, service ducts, and storm water drainage system.
Contract value: US $ 2.0 billion; Status: Ongoing.

Construction of Container Terminal, Tanker Berths, Jetties and Container yards

This prestigious project was part of multi stage expansion of the port over a decade. The work includes construction of new container terminal berth of 4000 meter length and container staking yards of 4000x1000 meter and a new tanker berth, Tanker birth 9,
The work involved in these projects are casting and placing of quay wall blocks, both underwater and land side supervision of quay wall placing dredging and rock foundation etc. Rock revetment and rock embankment, casting of RTG beam, RMG beam sea ward rail beam land ward rail beam, rail installation (36000 M) Service gallery, etc. Installation of quay furniture like bollards, fenders, quay ladder, buffers, Crain rails etc. service lines, storm water drainage system, fresh water and fire main, roads and buildings interlock paving for container stacking yard and all Necessary for a fully functioning container terminal.

This project comprises of construction of a harbor and road network at Hallaniyat Island
The work includes construction of a 1500m of quay wall for the container terminal, commercial ,tourism terminal, fishery terminal, ROP/Coast Guard terminal, coastal ferry terminal, pontoon construction etc.,2000 m main break water and 700 m of lee break water, dredging and reclamation work, upland facility work like yard paving storm water drainage work , Crain runway beam construction, high mast light installation electrical substation construction water supply and fire hydrants installation etc. casting and

This project comprises of modification and repair work for existing berths including construction of new RTG beams and sea ward and land ward rail beams, service gallery, reefer gantries, new fenders, bollards, quay ladders and all other infrastructure for a fully functioning container terminal. The work involved in these project is modification and repair work for existing berth contains construction of New RTG beams and Sea Ward and Land Ward rail beam service gallery, construction of reefer gantries, Installation of new fenders, bollards, quay ladders, fire hydrants, fresh water bunkering points, funnel pits, and Installation of high mast lights, draw pits, interlock paving and asphalting, road and pavement marking, etc. Electrical Sub Stations service lines, storm water drainage system, fresh water and fire main, roads and buildings Necessary for a fully functioning container terminal.
