Runner Automobiles Ltd. is the first manufacturer of wiring harness for the entire cross-section of Automobile Industry in Bangladesh.

In a brief, my task is to coordinate and lead the total project to build infrastructure for fabricating Wiring Harness. Using the method of reverse engineering on existing packages, I am responsible for designing and developing Wiring Harnesses for 12 different motorcycle brands currently producing at Runner Automobiles' factory in Bhaluka, Mymensing, Bangladesh.

In addition to these, coordinating an ERP software (Inventory and Production Management System) presently establishing at the Factory of Runner Automobiles Limited.

Design Engineer (Electrical Distribution System)

i) Developing automotive electrical distribution system of VW-Volkswagen & AUDI cars and designing their wire harness system using Mentor’s LCable (CAD software).
ii) Preparing fusing and grounding strategy in accordance with customer’s requirements.
iii) Analyzing Controller Area Net work (CAN) to develop proper Navigation System according to the customer’s demand.
iv) Collecting information by investigating updated SYS plan (Systemschaltplan) to find out the differences with the existing wire harness in a car.
v) Preparing design change requests with cost information to the customer.
vi) Creation of change management with the demand of customer and internal production development departments, and introducing them throughout the existing wire harness.
vii) Training new colleagues on wire harness development using LCable. Supporting prototype team to make drawings more clear to them.
viii) Studying complexity effects of proposed or given design changes, internally or from the customer side; moreover, studying automotive electrical/ electronic components, CAN-bus system, Engine Control Unit, ABS, ESP, EPS, Haldex-coupling, wiring diagrams of individual module, component’s positions in a car and so on.
ix) Contributing to company’s business related activities.
x) Managing fresh resources and allocating them to the projects.

i. Worked in “Greater Dhaka Power Distribution Project (GDPDP)”, Phase-IV (7 Nos. 33/11kV & 5 Nos. 132/33kV Sub-station) for Testing & Commissioning purposes.
ii. Scheduling the installation of high voltage S/S project. Observing (Erection and Installation) the running projects in various places of Bangladesh.
iii. Implementation of electrical equipments (such as Switchgears, CT, CB, MCB, CVT etc) and formation of their related control and relay panels.
iv. Testing of tripping relays, specifically Auxiliary relays & Micom P122.
v. Primary testing of different types of Transformer (CT, VT, CVT).
vi. Designing Electrical layouts, connection scheme and single line diagram of 132/33/11kV sub-station using AutoCAD.

2. Dräxlmaier Group on-the-job Training at DFS Dräxlmaier Fahrzeugsysteme GmbH, in Weyhausen, Germany. Successfully participated in the advance training from March 01, 2010 to April 01, 2011.

Design Engineer (Electrical Distribution System)

EDS Design Engineer with three years of experience in design and development of electrical wire harness system of the most famous European branded cars- Volkswagen & Audi. For the last three years, I had been working in a German based international automotive supplier company named Dräxlmaier as a Design Engineer (Electrical Wire Harness System). Within this period, I had been trained in Germany & Poland for around 17 months on EDS design and development using various software and application tools, especially Mentor Graphic's LCable and MS office package. For those three years, I was assigned to different projects, such as- VW411 NMS, VW371 Golf (MQB-B Concept) and lastly in Audi Quattro Q30 Concept. Apart from that, I also worked for two other different companies; one was "China National Electric Wire & Cable Imp./Exp. Corporation (CCC)" as an "Assistant Manager (Technical)", and the other one was "Wintech Engineers Limited" as an "Engineer (Coordination)". My duties and responsibilities there were in the field of electrical power transmission and power distribution accordingly.
