POSITION: Intern Trainer (Coordinator) )/Junior Programmer
The above position includes the following main responsibilities and not limited to:
• Training interns within our department (Projects Office)
It entails imparting knowledge and skills to interns. Most of these interns are on their second year and while some are final (4th) year students. Managing intern's projects to ensure that they are on track and solutions they derive are in line with the predefined market standards. I also defined work plan for their 6 months internship period and responsible to guide them with the help of the weekly and daily plan. In addition I was responsible to ensure that they complete their assignments on time. So far I have conducted several internships ranging from Joomla, Android, DHIS2, PHP and MySQL, ASP.NET and will be offering Java and Oracle this year. ALL of them involve managing intern's projects to make sure that they come to a successful implementation stage.
• Software Development and System Support
As one of my roles I was also dedicated to develop and maintain some modules in SDMS, Itracker (Issue tracking system), Examination systems. I had recently developed windows application for ACHAP to help them manage their day to day activities. In addition I do support and maintain the system whenever the need arises. I am also supporting Botho University staff on Botho system such as Leave management system, student management and others.
• Coordinating external interns (BOTUSA interns)
These set of interns are deployed at government health facilities to support health Patient management information system (PMIS). My responsibility is to make sure that they report to our department and I feedback to my supervisor on their behalf. I also responsible to recruit and make necessary training arrangements for them until they are deployed at their stations.

This project ran for about three months. As part of the team I was engaged through all phases of the project just from analyzing project visibility up to implementing it at the client location. We implemented it using MS SQL 2005 and C#/ASP.NET.

PROJECT NAME: Records Management & Performance Tracking System(Desktop Application)
This project ran for about six months and was an individual project assisted by our Open University project tutor. It was implemented using MS SQL 2000 and C#.NET.

• Quality assurance
• Meeting with stakeholders helped me to learn cooperation and respect others.
I had attended personal management classes and did level 1 and level 2. This course taught me how to manage almost all my resource: time and money were my interest as it is everyday part of our lives. This course will enhance and help me to duly carry all tasks effectively as census supervisor.
