Manage the activities of the six regionally based ETQA quality assuror's including their daily activities, car and petrol usage, leave and performance appraisals.
Monitor the implementation of the QMS within ETQA and other Merseta divisions to ensure alignment to SAQA accreditation requirements.
Prepare documentation for the SAQA monitoring and auditing.
Participate in the Merseta Joint management forum to ensure the smooth running of the Merseta as an organization.
Participate in the development and documentation of necessary QMS systems and finalise the application to SAQA so that Merseta is accredited by SAQA as an ETQA.
Develop and manage the Data Net systems so that the administration for learnerships and apprenticeships and skill programme is efficient and effective.
Quality assures all learner certification and statement of results requests so that only competent learners are issued with certificates.
Attend SAQA ETQA forums to ensure that Merseta is updated on new developments.
Ensure that the Quality Assurer's keep to set time frames and turn-around times so as to improve the Merseta CSI.
Participate in DoL partnership with SETA ETQA's for the development of future QCTO's functions.
