PROJECT DEVELOPMENT
• Development of Primary Education /Girl Child Education Support Project
o Develop concept and objectives
o Develop project scope and tiers of execution
BUDGET AND FINANCE MANAGEMENT
• Source funding for the project
• Development finance reporting template and procedures for Project Manager
• Plan each project activity budget and schedule finances accordingly
• Agree on sourcing of material for the project execution
• Ensure all funds from international donors are properly accounted for and reported on to respective donors and President of organization
COORDINATION WITH BOARD , LOCAL STAFF, LOCAL AND INTERNATIONAL STAKEHOLDERS
• Calling for and organizing local staff meetings to draw progress reports and schedule board meetings
• Call for and chair local board meetings and remit project progress reports
• Review international stakeholder communication and agree on any needed action/responses or reports with local staff
• Coordinate with Project Manager on his liaisons with local authority development committee and schools participating
PROJECT ACTIVITY SHEDULE
• Develop and monitor project activity schedule with Project Manager
o For planning stage
o Local authority coordination stage
o School identification stage
o School sensitization
o Implementation stage
o School participation and contribution stage
o Completion review stage
• Call for and conduct activity review meeting on completion of scheduled project activity by Project manager and other project staff.

PERSONELL ADMINISTRATION
• Staff induction training

• Monitor and control shift assignment and work scheduling
• Manage leave times and ensure compliance with employment Act
• See to any employment issues with the Labor office
• Follow up any staff on sick leave and ensure compliance with Employment Act
STOCK MANAGEMENT
• Monitor and control stock levels. See to stock re-ordering
• Produce monthly stock returns and reconciliations
• See to any damaged or contaminated stock
• Monitor payments of stock and volumes received
• Monitor and control any debtors accounts
• Monitor market prices and recommend and price adjustments to head office
• Act as liaisons between head office and suppliers, as well as customers
BANKING AND FINANCE
• Monitor and control daily banking
• Maintain banking ledgers
• Produce monthly banking reconciliation
• Monitor and control all petty cash expenditure and reconciliation
• Run monthly wage bill and payment of salaries
EQUIPMENT AND PREMISES
• Ensure all required equipment is functioning to standard
• Arrange for any calibrations and/or maintenance with agrees contractors
• Ensure all equipment meets Malawi Bureau of standards set standards
• Identify any required premises and negotiate rental terms
• See to all rental payments
• Liaise with landlords on needed maintenance and security

MARKETS
• Identify new potential clientele
• Liaise on price and delivery of services for them

British Council

RESPONSIBILITIES
RAISGING AWARENESS OF BRITISH COUNCIL LEARNING CENTER AND OTHER PROJECTS AND SERVICES AMONG CUSTOMERS AND TARGETED GROUPS
• To enhance relationships with British Council information centre clients by offering them opportunities for professional development and to support the British Council regional and local programmes with information, resources and open learning services.
• Raising awareness of British Council Learning Centre and it's services among customers and targeted groups
• Identifying new target groups
• Familiarization with other British Council projects and staff responsible for them
PRODUCT/PROJECT MAINTENANCE AND DEVELOPMENT
• Contribute to the development of the Learning Centre and it's services plan
o Maintaining collection and reviewing it periodically
o Ordering new material for the book and DVD collection
o Execute, monitor and report on Learning Centre projects as agreed on by regional head office, and to agreed standard.
• Monitor and maintain electronic library system, and produce periodic reports from the system
o Block unpaid member
o Ensure fines reports are produced and effected for members involved
o Produce reports on overdue book and/or dvd's and follow up with respective member
• To ensure effective monitoring & evaluation of all Learning Centre services and products, including compilation of scorecard data and using client specific evaluation tools as needed, determining and working towards project key performance indicators
• Ensure that Learning Centre services and products All projects are monitored and evaluated on time and as set out in the project plans

PROJECT BUDGET AND FINANCES
• Manage the financial accounts and budgets of Learning Centre
• Record financial data and produce periodic reports financial reports from using SAP system.
HARDWARE AND SOFTWARE MONITORING
• Ensure Learning center computers and furniture is in proper working condition
• Work with the local and regional IT Manager to handle any IT...

• Plan, monitor and coordinate the NCC International Diploma in Computer Studies, and the NCC Advanced Diploma in Computer Studies as follows
o Plan course schedules for the year
o Plan student course payment schedule
o Produce cash flow for scheduled diploma courses
o Act as liaison between NCC Board representatives in South Africa, and Data Skills Centre.
o Source part time external lectures and draw up their contracts
o Arrange for student entrance examinations and registration
o Arrange and schedule student final examination moderation
o Source teacher and student course material
o Source appropriate venues when needed
o Negotiate for student attachments and employment (part time or full time) after successful completion of examinations
