Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinating and overseeing the construction phase of project Solar Power Plant SOLANA, 280 MW. Checking design of foundation structures, performed analysis and suggested alterations and additions for turbine generators, cooling towers basins, steam generators, deaerator's foundations, tanks foundations, transformers foundations, pumps foundations,(circulations, recirculation's, freeze protection), pipeline foundations, steel platforms foundations, electrical buildings, columns foundations, supports.
I reviewed shop drawings and submittals coordinated with activity managers in structural, mechanical (foundation, bolts, steel construction, platforms) and electrical matters (electrical building foundations, pole embedment foundations, cable canals).
I monitoring construction work and installations steel, concrete, anchor bolts and considered discrepancies with activity manager and resident engineer, to help contractors to resolve problems in site.
I reviewed biddings, change orders, shop drawings and RFI working closely with activity managers (civil, mechanical, electrical, ).
During the construction phase, I verified compliance with contract documents, assisted by answering QA/QC pertaining to the contract documents, codes and standards.
I monitoring soil bearing capacity, concrete and other tests performed and revised data.
I reviewed Special inspection reports performed by third agency according request from Government agency and daily reports from the site.
I analyzed and reviewed concrete mix design, design for high temperature concrete and additive materials, and anchor bolts design in concrete and confirmed on the field.
I reviewed testing of compressive strength of concrete and discussed failure.
Performed sketches and monitoring paving, roads, cover over pipelines, storm water, underground utilities, drainage, ponds, and other civil engineering designs.
