Sampled the area of the Wolkberg mountain Range from Naaboomspruit to the J.G. Streydom Tunnel using stream sediment sampling and rock sampling techniques.

BRITISH SOUTH AFRICAN POLICE

January 1978 - May 1981

FUNCTIONS AND POSITION ACHIEVED: ACTING SECTION OFFICER - MEMBER IN CHARGE OF MPHOENGS POLICE STATION
Completed a 3,5 year service with the British South African Police during the transition period to independence.
Was responsible for the Ground Coverage duties at Tjolotjo Police station, which resulted in being involved in a large number of counter insurgency incidents with 2,5 years of combat experience. Member in Charge of Mphoengs Police Station.
After independence was in charge of a Police reaction team, (40men) involved in follow-up operations, anti stock theft and counter insurgency operations
Was wounded and hospitalized twice for gunshot wounds received during firefights and received commendations for bravery, which were not awarded at my request due to the changing political climate.
