Duties
• Organization of the day to day running of the business.

• Delegation and staff management
• Carry out specifications for quotes and carry out site inspections. Confirm specification meets with hospital disability requirements. Htm 64 compliant, Doc M specification.

• Setting targets, Overseeing accounts payable/receivable.

• Liaise with production and purchasing manager
Setting budgets and Working closely with in house accountant to ensure smooth cash flow and maximum profitability.

• Report directly to the board of directors/shareholders.
• New product development (from prototype through to brochures)

• Key account management (Dail Eireann, Dublin Airport authority, DAA, E bay, Jim Mansfield's and Liam Lawler's hotel groups, Hewlett Packard, Intel.)

• Organization and promotion of the business at major events like Plan Expo.


• Liaise with enterprise board/enterprise Ireland for grants and product support.

• Meeting with new suppliers, arranging samples, gaining product guarantees and sourcing suppliers who were more economically viable.

• Set up and marketing of a recognized brand namely the Proform Logo.

• Set up specifications for quotes and products and costing.

• Personally managed Overseas clients for export. Also personally managed all meeting. ( twice a month away on average)


Achievements
• To successfully negotiate with client /architects over a two year period for Dublin airport terminal one and terminal two with a value of 1.6 million to the company. Rewarded for this with ten days in Dubai, 6 star hotels, all expenses paid.
