Good afternoon. Please accept my resume for the position of Manager, Project Development. I have just completed my PMP from the Saskatoon School of Business. Also I have extensive mining supervision experience.

I am currently the Night-Captain/ Relief Superintendent at the world-class Jansen twin Shaft Project and have over 25 years of International operational, management and front-line supervision experience with Shaft, raise and underground mining development. I have the leadership skills and experience that will allow me to provide the required safe and detailed execution of your underground construction project.
I started my career learning the basics from the ground up as an inexperienced miner and built up my skillset to the Management level, bringing with me all my accumulated knowledge and experience of a multitude level of projects and positions. Throughout my career I was involved in many different aspects of mining. My overseas back ground is very extensive. Working with Expats and Nationals. I've been employed in 8 countries throughout my 25 years in the industry. One of my latest international assignments began as Project Superintendent in Argentina, involved with unplugging a raise bore hole and railing down to install ground support. From here, I transitioned to the Santiago Chile Office as an Alimak Coordinator. There I was responsible for building an Alimak Division for Redpath Mining South America. With this position, building procedures, HYRA's and I was directly involved with engineering, estimating, international procurement.
With the experiences I've learned throughout my career gives me great judgement and respect when it comes to building strong teams and relationships with employees and clients alike. Decision making and making the right choices is key to being a strong leader using both the clients and contractor's resources. Work History

Jansen Project, Saskatchewan, CA - Shaft Captain/Shaft Superintendent


Implementing new shaft mining methods with an SBR, conducting safety meetings, line up meetings, designing JHA's, along with managing both the Production Shaft and Service Shaft.

Alimak Coordinator / Project Superintendent


I was directly involved with the client in Argentina and Chile. Galloway design, procedural authoring that consisted of
Alimak railing down and then ground supporting raise bore holes which were caving-in. Assisted HR with the hiring,
work visas, planning, and scheduling. I was also responsible for the purchase of all Alimak equipment / parts from
Canada and the importation to Chile and Argentina - rehabbing the equipment to meet Redpath Standards.

Night Captain, Shaft Leader, Clam Operator


Supervise Night Shift. Conduct safety meetings and implement SCR and Ontario Safety Standards. Lead the shaft crew in all shaft sinking cycles, as well as being the only clam operator on the property.


Tanzania (Africa)

Alimak training of Tanzanian Nationals. Drive Alimak Raises for ventilation, man ways, and for stope mining methods.


Campo Morado (Mexico)

Directly involved with the development of (2) ramps from surface extending to the ore body (One fresh air and one
exhaust). Responsible for implementing the safety program, training program, and maintain production schedule.

General Foreman, Raise leader/ trainer


Directly involved with the developing of Indonesian Nationals with Alimak Raises and underground construction work.
Responsibilities included implementing safety and training programs, as well as keep production advancements on target.


Ocampo (Mexico)

Supervise night shift. Conduct safety meetings and implement Wabi Mining and Ontario Safety Standards. Lead the shaft
crew in all shaft sinking cycles. Additionally, responsible for construction of the head frame and hoist room.

Shift Boss, Shaft Leader, Raise Leader

Garson Shaft

Supervise afternoon shift, conduct safety meetings, and directed implementation of Dynatec Mining and Ontario Safety
Standards. Lead the shaft crew in all shaft sinking cycles, as well as stripping the Galloway and structures after the shaft
was completed. After shaft completion, worked on driving raises for man-ways and ventilation.

McCreedy East - Phase 2 (Philippines) - Raise Leader


Driving Alimak raises of all diameters and lengths. Training of new raise miners.
