Mike Holm has over 26 years in correctional management, and executive leadership experience, including over 12 years in the position of assistant warden and warden. Mike began his career with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice Institutional Division where he worked at a 3500 bed maximum security Prison Farm. He worked Death Row at the Ellis I Unit and later worked in the private sector where he served in various positions of increasing authority leading up to senior warden. Additionally, Mike served a tour in Baghdad, Iraq, with The Department of Justice International Criminal Investigative Assistance Program (ICITAP) as a Senior Advisor on the Corrections Mission in Iraq. He managed and directed the administration, operation and planning of the corrections advisor teams assigned to five Iraqi prisons. He assisted Iraqi counterparts on rebuilding the corrections system in Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. Mike has been the Corporate Director of Operations for Creative Corrections since 2009 where his duties include executive leadership of administrative support services for the home office, oversight and project management duties of various government contracts including the Office of the Federal Detention Trustee, and Department of State International Narcotics and Law Enforcement, and the Department of Homeland Security, Office of Detention Oversite/ Office of Inspector General. Additional duties include proposal/solicitation planning and development, policy and procedure production, performing Quality Assurance Reviews as Senior Project Manager and Security and Control Subject Matter Expert. Mike currently holds a Top Secret Security Clearence.
