I work internationally as well as in the UK in Search and Selection. I run a specialist oil, gas and mining desk out of Bristol, UK, with a sub office in Mombasa.

My focus is not just on senior roles, but on finding people with skills as rare as gold dust (!) - eg. Metallurgists, Geologists, Hydrogeologists etc: Anyone, anywhere, with key technical skills that add value to a client's business, especially if they're hard to find/attract, or a hiring exercise has stalled.

Geographically, I mostly cover Africa - too many countries to list here, I personally specialise in South Africa and Eastern Africa (esp. Kenya/Ethiopia as I speak some Swahili and run an office there) but also Australia, Canada, South America and the USA, etc.

I've a broad service/sales background, going back 30 years, with experience in sales & marketing in traditional and digital media; lecturing/seminars, sales training courses, as well as my present role in recruitment - which brings me back to the industry in which I started my recruitment career in the late 80's.

Took business from scratch to six figure turnover in under one year, but main business closed after being heavily hit by loss of the two main clients (Nortel and Vodafone).
Free-lance sales & marketing work included: 2005, set up & developed a new business "" for the business Distinction World, providing media solutions for suppliers to quality hotels and restaurants. This and sister company "" very successful and sold to a big chain for a profit after two years.
