Summary:

1. General Office Maintenance and Logistics
• Ensure that offices function properly for e.g. regarding lights and bathrooms are working. Log calls with the Landlord to arrange for repairs as per rental agreement.

2. Supervision
• Compile office procedures and policies in conjunction with the Training and Organisational Development Officer and Skills Development and EE Facilitator
• Request the Employee Relations and Change Management Officer to communicate office management related issues to staff.
• Monitor and supervise work carried out by subordinates to ensure that it is of the required standard.
3. Office Supplies
• Monitor expenditure against the budget for the office supplies
• Order or purchase office supplies and groceries as required
• ordering and distributing Stationery
• Do office management credit card reconciliation

4. Access, Safety and Security
• Monitor security access to the building
• Carry out routine inspections to ensure that the first aid boxes are adequately stocked and that the fire extinguishers are correctly maintained.
• Keep keys to the building and offices in a safe place.
• Arrange building access for new employees
5. Post
• Supervise all incoming post and ensure that it gets distributed to the correct people.
• Record incoming post against registered/delivered mail
6. Petty Cash
Submit recon re. money spent (monthly
7. Miscellaneous
• Attend to any other relevant and reasonable tasks as may be required from time to time
