I am a working artist experienced in many mediums with a love for them all. Tattooing is my main passion, working daily to achieve the goal of making tattoos that will enhance the body however I have been feeling the urge lately to work much larger than the body will allow.
With a late start in art one thing that I read that stuck with me is that any problems you may run in to in art you will run in to on a portrait somewhere between the ears. So my theory has always been that once I can feel confident producing a human head and face in color (whether you want to call it a portrait, a caricature, a copy or whatever floats your boat) then I will have acquired the majority of the skills required to feel unrestrained in my own work, so that I can figure out what my own work is. Basically learning the rules to know how to bend and break them.
Bringing us to the present I now feel like I am ready to figure out what "my style" of art is and branch out and try new things. Not only with drawing but lighting, depth, color, and mood also.
Lately my focus has been on trying to conceptualize Ideas in new ways and to push to make every piece something personal that will fit for life. New stuff coming on that front so stay tuned.
About getting work by me:
Commissioned Art: All canvas portraits start at $650 and go up from there my preferred size is 24x36 if this is a problem please adress it when contacting me. Size is no problem but I have done a painting before which was comissioned as a gift and the receiver ended up with a print.
