Prenton Trader is a Zimbabwe owned company. Though primarily I work for Prenton Trader I also do work for two of its sister companies, Imbrex Enterprises and Upman Services which are based in Zimbabwe. The owner lives in Zimbabwe and gets to Johannesburg approximately once a month so the running of the Johannesburg office is pretty much left up to me.

Responsibilities: (Prenton Trader)
* Fuel Purchases from Sasol
* Sale of fuel
* Responsible for arranging transport of fuel from Johannesburg to Harare
* Daily tracking reports of trucks carrying fuel
* Cash control and bank deposit reports
* Invoicing
* Fuel inventory and shrinkage reports
* General office admin
* Quality and safety controls

Responsibilities: (Imbrex Enterprises)
* Liasing with traders from Dubai and Singapore for best deals on fuel
* Arranging with the port in Beira for storage of the incoming fuel
* Arranging for transportation of fuel between Beira and Harare via pipeline

Responsibilities: (Upman Services - Cross Border Transport)
* Arranging loads for our trucks between Zimbabwe and Johannesburg
* Invoicing customers for the loads
* Dispatching drivers and loads
* Daily tracking reports on our trucks and liasing with the relevant customers
* Bank deposit reports
* Vehicle maintenance checks
* Equipment inventory control on both trucks and trailers

Over and above this, our company is also refurbishing a hotel in Kwe Kwe as well as refurbishing / building 10 service stations around Zimbabwe. I have been involved in the development of the Brand Manual for the service stations. For the hotel refurbishment I have been required to get quotes from leading suppliers and conduct site inspections with them in Zimbabwe before securing them to do the refurbishment.
