Projects

Engraved bottles

Recycling old items is better than throwing them out. I have recycled a few things before ... but, to date, bottle recycling is the most interesting.

I engraved a few wine bottles to decant into. They are unique engraved bottles and some made personal with special messages.

Engraved gifts

Currently I am busy working on a design for a 21st birthday gift. The design incorporates the names and birth dates of the birthday girls. The main gift is a bottle of sparkling raspberry juice (it looks just like rose wine) and then two glasses - one a red wine glass with the name and date of the one girl and the other a juice glass with the name of the other girl.

I have worked on a number of personalised engraved glasses and cookie jars as birthday and Christmas gifts and engraved corporate gifts including wine bottles, whiskey bottles, drinking glasses and coasters. You can personalise just about anything with that personal touch.

All my engraving is done by hand with an engraving machine ... all my work is done with a unique touch.

Jewelry

I love to create unique jewelry. I have created a number of beautiful sets of necklaces, earrings and bracelets. I have also designed pendants for clients with specific ideas in mind. Each piece is worked to the needs and desires of each client.

Laser cut metal work

Creative art works that are cut from metal.

Custom names:
I had a client about a year ago that wanted beautiful name statements for her daughters rooms. So instead of going the standard wood cut route, she came to me. Together we designed the girls something that fit their particular personalities and incorporated their favourite animals or plants.

Escutcheons and architectural details:
Sometimes it is difficult to find that one tiny detail to make your home yours. The smallest being that silly key hole cover (escutcheon) ... what would you do with it? Just cover it with those standard escutcheons that everyone has? Or cover it in style? I know for my home I wanted something really nice, so I created labeled escutcheons (the escutcheons labeled each cupboard like "FOOD" "CLEAN" "LINEN") and then my bedroom had cheeky cat escutcheons.

I also designed a number of dummy hinges for wine cellar doors. It's not always easy to find the style you want, and when you do, they are not always at the right size for the door you want to place them on.

Key holders:
Custom key holders made to order. Any style with any words with as many key hooks as you need. The smallest I did was a 2 hook warthog key holder and the largest to date is a kitchen themed key holder with 10 hooks.

House signage:
Custom designs for your house number or house name. You can pick any font you like or let me work some magic to create that extra special touch to your home.

Decorative wall art:
I always have these grand art designs in mind. I designed an African Safari scene for my grandmothers braai area. She themed it in an African style and all that was missing were the animals, so I designed and laser cut a metal art piece for her wall.

Pooh bear clock

A pooh bear clock designed for a very special little girl. Her granny wanted something unique for her and she loves Winnie the Pooh.
Pooh Bear is cut out of Supa wood and lifted off the background. All hand painted

There are so many options for a child's room including growth charts and decorative wall art. What ever your needs, they can be made a reality.

Bookmarks

Great little gifts in the simplest ways. I love making simple gifts for family and friends ... many of them love a good book. So why not? I made a bookmark ... but no ordinary one.

Harry Potter Wands

I made a great set of custom Harry Potter wands for Christmas. The wands are all individually crafted to produce a magical attraction. They have all been sold, but more can be crafted. No wand will ever be the same.

Mini Top Hats / Fascinators

I have successfully completed matching neon mini top hats for a mother and baby daughter duo. Mom wanted a neon pink and neon green hat for her and her baby for her 30th birthday. I am very pleased at the way they came out.

I have created a number of fascinators for clients. I work closely with my clients so that together, we get the perfect end result. They are perfect for parties, social events and weddings. One of the latest styles for weddings has been the humble fascinator with a short veil attached to it.
