Michelle Phipps Evans

Washington, DC, USA

I have a good eye as an editor. My grammar skills are impeccable as my degree minor is in linguistics or the science of language. I took several semesters on morphology and dialectology. I'm a highly skilled copyeditor who ensures there will be no typos in the copy, especially the headlines and captions.

I am a copy editor on roster for Virginia-based Editorial Experts Inc. I am a solid proofreader as well.

I've been an editor since 1996. I've started editing magazines, moved to weekly newspapers and I've done newsletters, and other publications.

Beyond my skill as an editor, I'm also a journalist. I'm an excellent writer who can take complex political issues to bring it to the level that the regular reader can understand. I have a unique talent of seeing the unusual story and angle that no one else sees and I can get my interviewee to reveal the deepest secrets about themselves.

I am somewhat of a guru on social media.
