Reason For Leaving.- Redundancy of half of sales team due to post 2K lull in IT market with budget restraints due to last until April 2001.

The Directors of Challinor were originally Directors of Accton UK. When (Acton Taiwan's main manufacturer of Networking Products) acquired SMC last year Challinor was formed as their main distributor. We also took on sole distribution of Accton's Alfa range of networking products. My role was direct marketing both existing & new clients. In order to cut direct marketing costs I set up datacapture methods and converted traditional techniques to various directed e-mail strategies (see NB). Calling, Identifying & classifying clients & prospects. Making appointments with suitable company's such as large systems builders & resellers & special targets. Linking marketing programs to exhibitions & advertising campaigns.

Matching candidate's skill sets to client requirements, Canvassing clients, producing advertisements, profiling candidates, thoroughly investigating client staffing requirements & supplying suitable staff. Arranging interviews and checking references to BS standards in the 6 weeks after my training was completed in made £12.5K in fees.
Reason For Leaving. -Company relocated and as it frequently necessary to work 12 hr day extra 2 hours a day travel.
