This posting included organising and assisting the Hon Financial Secretary as well as managing the daily running of his Office, which included organising appointments/ meetings/ conferences/ social engagements both local and overseas and to vet and compose correspondence. Another aspect of this position was the daily oversight of an Executive Officer, processing all incoming invoices as purchase orders and batch sheets for payment, composing Minutes of meetings and assisting the Assistant Financial Secretary.

• composition of letters/memos and panel reports

• assist in preparing job descriptions
• prepare advertisements for vacant posts
• arrange local and overseas interviews (liaise with candidates and panel members/arrange travel and hotel reservations/prepare recruitment packets for interview panel and candidates)
• conduct interviews, both locally and overseas, as part of a Panel
• offer positions to successful candidates and make arrangements for their arrival - if overseas
