Chester - English Language Teacher - Toulouse, Midi-Pyrénées, France

Michele Chester

Toulouse, Midi-Pyrénées, France

Summary

I was born and raised in the USA where my early education taught me the value of hard work and public service. I have lived in France since 2006. During the 8 years that I have lived here, I have broadened my worldview and diversified my thoughts and values. I have brought all of these positive experiences to my student-centered teaching style.

I love what I do. I have always been fascinated by world languages and cultures, so teaching English to people around the world is my dream job.

I have organized international seminars and workshops that bring together diverse groups of amazing people who are interested in using English as a common language. I have successfully enhanced the career and academic prospects of the learners who work with me.

I speak French and Spanish, and have studied a half dozen other languages. Every five years, since the age of 18, I have re-read my favorite novels (Madame Bovary and Cien Años de Soledad) in the original. My motto is: "One language is not enough!"
