First line of contact with telephone enquiries and cold calling of businesses to generate recruitment leads, which improved my telephone communications skills and confidence. Promoting government funded training products, advertising vacancies on various websites, as well as outsourcing of suitable candidates, this has improved my skills regarding process of elimination. Compiling all necessary records and carrying out any other tasks as required.

Whilst I was working as a volunteer at the Burger Van my responsibilities were to set up the van, cook, serve, handle money, make refreshments and to maintain a clean hygienic area to cook and handle food. Multitasking was a key skill needed to work in this environment especially during busy times when you have to keep at a fast pace. I gained confidence working here as I had to communicate face to face with customers throughout the day.
Playgroup General Assistant

My responsibilities consisted of a variety of roles such as supervising the children aged between 2 1/2 - 4 year olds, keeping them occupied and feeding them. I also had to read them books, maintain order and make sure they were in a safe and clean environment. This taught me the importance of taking care of other people's children and their property.
