Skillfully fabricate walls, cut new wall openings and install doors, build smoke shacks and water sheds, and perform assembly as well as any needed repairs to office furniture.

Comprehensively managed all aspects of construction/installation of mess hall from old facility; worked without blueprints, troubleshooting to locate crucial power panels/junction boxes; directed crew with limited capabilities in communicating in English.
Following construction efforts, judiciously ensured high levels of facility maintenance and upkeep.
Prior to 1997, served as an Electrician & Foreman employed by Three Rivers Electric directing installation of switchgear, piping, heavy equipment and wiring, as well as running start-up checks on all systems. Served as an Electrician at HB Zachary working on Mobile Bay Project laying out and installing conduit, wires and connections. Additionally, was a Building Inspector with City of Lufkin tasked with evaluating electrical, plumbing, mechanical, structural and foundational construction work. Was also employed at South Texas Nuclear Project as an Electrician/Welder and have been certified as a welder at numerous nuclear plants.

As a self-employed business owner, I was responsible for acquiring contracts and procuring material; timekeeping and payroll. In working as a carpenter/electrician I also supervised all aspects of the job to ensure quality work was performed according to the specifications of the contract.
Provided all areas of commercial/residential kitchen building/remodeling, including utilizing computer software in various design aspects; fabricated cabinets and counter tops, and employed meticulous skills in finish carpentry; constructed storage outbuildings and home additions.
Efficiently utilized knowledge and experience in the commercial/residential building industry gained while employed as a Building Inspector to ensure adherence to all codes, eliminating need for outside contractors; areas included electrical, plumbing, framing, foundation and air conditioning.
