I have worn several "hats" professionally. I am a production engineer with many years of management, including engineering maintenance,and am also a very experienced manager of private security companies. I have also served as a police officer in the marine law enforcement field. I am looking for fresh opportunities, and am open to overseas employment offers. I am presently in The Cayman Islands, officially retired, but have much left in me, and wish to capitalize on my experience and qualifications.

Initially appointed manager of Safeguard Security Services Ltd., employing 17 security officers, and building the company to 40 officers by 2001, greatly improving the quality of service, pricing structure, and contract portfolio, achieving quadrupled profits.

Management responsibility increased in Dec. 2003 with the company's acquisition of two other companies. One was Shield Security Services Ltd., an armored courier / cash transport company providing local and international service to major banking institutions, as well as Brinks Blobal
services, Securicor, Via Mat Intl., Trans Value Inc., Wells Fargo, and HSBC. The other company acquired was Advance Fire Systems Ltd., a
fire extinguisher sales and service franchise of Ansul Inc. This, as well as the other two companies were sold.

Operations Manager

Security management responsibility for approx. 800 security personnel with police powers. Responsible for the provision of security services to
(a) airports and seaports using approx. 650 officers, as well as (b) the prescribed tourist areas of Jamaica, using approx. 150 specially trained
officers with police warrants, maintained in barracks in Negril, Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, and Portland. Responsibilities here included
law enforcement (tourism related laws, drug interdiction, and cruise ship pier operations). Special Constable status was part of the protocol.

Kingston, Jamaica.
Provision of island wide vehicle recovery and transport service, including 24hr. response to police requests for accident scene assistance and stolen car recovery. Included off-road recovery, and equipment transport. Closed the business in 1997 to join family in the Cayman Islands.

Appointed to rebuild a failing industrial security company, which involved transport fleet, recruiting and training, marketing, kennels, armed and unarmed services, undercover operations, collection of a large outstanding debt portfolio, and budgeting. Turned the company around, making it
profitable, and established a three year marketing plan, with budget and cash flow plans, prior to resigning.

Appointed Project Manager for the completion of the Denham Town Redevelopment Project. Project consisted of roads, drainage, and infrastructural construction, as well as the Golden Age Home. Upon completion of this project, was appointed machinery and Works Manager for the Matrix Group of Companies, which position encompassed the hireage of heavy equipment such as cranes, excavators, compressors, welding
plant etc, and the management of a light / medium machine shop, and assisting in the construction and commissioning of a block ice making plant.

Expanded security operations from the initial 280 security officers in 1983 to over 1200 by 1988. Services provided were, unarmed, armed, undercover,
K-9, investigations, surveillance, consultancy, and agricultural property protection. Responsibility for all operations management, recruiting, training, and transportation, as well as kennels and K-9 training for approx. 300 guard dogs.

Designed and implemented a command and training structure to manage and assure the quality of service of a dramatically growing operation throughout the island of Jamaica. Support staff numbered six sub-managers, and approx. 30 supervisory personnel island-wide. Guardsman emerged as the industry leader through this development process.

24 x 7 x 50 weeks per year. Achieved record production and profitability through improvements in plant design and efficiency. Nominated for
Manager of The Year Award in the group of companies. Earned promotion in each of four years served.
