Whilst I was working at the Holiday Inn Hotel my main duties were working as a waiter and a bar tender. Importantly, I found myself to be extremely motivated whilst I was at this, my responsibilities involved setting up tables for both morning and evening shifts it also I had to serve coffee's in the morning shift with the occasional pints in the afternoon but towards the evening shift I worked there was mainly alcohol drinks I had to serve customers it was also my job to try and sell our house wines and menu specials etc.

Brasenose College

May 2011 - January 2012

(part-time work)

I am currently working at Brasenose College, Oxford doing waiter work, I thoroughly enjoy this work but unfortunately at the present time I am only part time it is my goal to find myself full time work in the hostess environment

Ace Training, Kidlington, Oxford - Carpentry course (3 days a week)

I am tried the Ace Training centre doing a course in carpentry, but my heart was not in the course I had a good attendance at the college but I came to realise that this was not the course for me I am at my happiest when I am working in the Hospitality environment.

Blenheim Palace, Woodstock, Oxfordshire - Waiting tables (part-time Christmas temp)

While working at Blenheim Palace I was able to develop my teamwork skills as I worked with a large group of people. My daily responsibilities consisted of serving up parties of up to 300 people. We were expected to turn dinner courses and clear tables quickly and efficiently. I was also asked on a number of occasions to bar tend, as well as be part of the champagne reception. Other roles included working the till and making hot beverages on a real coffee machine.
