Until recently (End Feb 2014) I was responsible for leading a charity deliver two multi million pound DWP work programme contracts and one EU contract. I also oversaw the organisation's other portfolio of projects, initiatives and services: This includes a training centre, rented offices, a community transport scheme, a business centre and a business (16 SME) industrial site.
To ensure delivery of the work programme contracts, within a timescales governed by financial penalties, which included the successful negotiated termination of a multi million pound ESF contract and the tupeing of the staff; I have and continue to undertake complex negotiations with all partners: local businesses, local authorities, private companies ( Serco & A4e) DWP( Job Centre Plus) and government departments on financial and operations issues regarding the delivery of theses contracts and their social and economic impact.
I am experienced with Change Management, Employee Relations (legislation) and HR principles and practices and multi site redundancy processes. I have developed policies, workshops and provided advice, counselling and compensations packages as part of the change management requirements. This includes: job evaluation, services restructuring and the associated people issues and requirements. This enabled effective change to be communicated and agreed with stakeholders and colleague so ensuring good decision making and successful change occurred.
