New company MediTec/FerroCare will produce and market heme iron food supplement tablets internationally. All certification and marketing materials needed are already in place. A major clinical study comparing OptiFer® with Ferroglycine sulphate tablets is under work. Ferroglycine sulphate tablets are perhaps the largest iron supplement internationally. We strongly believe OptiFer® will have a significantly better tolerance profile and that efficacy is also strong.
Product line is: heme/non-heme tablets OptiFer® and OptiFer® Eco, chewable multivitamin/mineral tablets OptiFer@ Kiddo, OptiFer@Vital® and OptiFer@Easy.
