- Manage MTN site builds and upgrades for both Gauteng and northern region
-Oversee day to day operations for all including Vodacom sites
Manage 4 sub-contractors consisting of 3 teams per sub-contractor
Manage all teams under Boniswa performing Vodacom Installations.

- To keep the network up I attended to faults as quickly as possible and also optimised the network by doing upgrades and building new sites

-I installed a number of PCM systems (pulse code modulation) in Kwa-Zulu Natal
-These PCM systems take in 30 lines or channels and multiplex them into a 2mbit/s stream i.e.
- Installed LTA (line terminating apparatus) these LTA systems power feed the line regens that are on the ground
- Installed an open wire system between a place called Ceza near Nongoma and Ulundi exchange
- I install these systems test and commission them then hand them over to the maintenance section in order to maintain them
- Installed a lot of PDH equipment i.e. Plesisyncronised digital hierarchy e.g. 2-8mbit/s, 8-34mbit/s,
34-140mbit/s, 4x2mbit/s OLS, 34mbit/s OLT, 140mbit/s OLTE and 565mbit/s
- Installed 2mbit/s interface equipment in a number of GSM sites i.e. MTN and Vodacom and other
corporate clients
- Built 2mbit/s interface equipment at our workshops then went out to install them in various GSM
sites in order to interface GSM equipment such as Motorola for Vodacom and Ericsson for MTN into
Telkom infrastructure
- Installed SDH equipment (synchronised digital hierarchy) in various Telkom exchanges in the country i.e. 155 add -drop mux, 622 add-drop mux, 2.5 gig hertz add-drop mux and 2.5gigahertz line
- Planning new digital routes,
- Upgrading existing digital routes,
- Liaise with clients for accommodation to house the equipment especially when providing the client with service using his or her premises for the equipment,
- Replacing open wire systems (copper based infrastructure) with digital systems (optical or microwave based infrastructure) and provision of infrastructure to automate rural areas
- Costing which included labour, transport, equipment, accommodation and allowances
