Maureen is a Twenty first Century, confident, articulate, assertive, multi-talented woman, who tries to balance the responsibilities of the consumate Information Management professional at the Bank of Jamaica for the last 27 years; With being a mother, wife, mentor at the University, active member of my church and a sports enthusiast who finds time to participate in my favourite games (badminton, lawn and table tennis, domino and scrabble) .

I enjoy theatrical performances, travelling & meeting people and learning about other cultures, hiking and extending a hand to the less fortunate. Some of my enjoyable moments are spent entertaining house guests, displaying my culinary skills and sharing culinary delights.

I live with the firm spiritual conviction that as a daughter of the King, nothing happens to me by chance but by divine channelling. My manthra is " I can accomplish all things through Christ".

Responsibilities include:

Satisfying the information services needs of the Bank of Jamaica and the wider general public through the development, leadership and management of the Library and Records Management Centre (LRMC), ensuring consistent and timely availability of relevant information to clients, effectively managing the Bank's records ( electronic & non electronic), documents and information. And, as the Bank's Access to Information Act Officer, ensuring proper stewardship of that role.

General Management responsibilities include:
* Directing the operations of the Library & Records Management Centre (LRMC), providing leadership and managing employee performance, participating in the selection of new recruits and marketing the services of the Centre internally and externally.
* Providing strategic leadership and analytical support services to the records management programme by leading the process for the development and formulation of policies and procedures to continuously improve the operations and effectiveness of the Centre.
* Managing the physical resources of the LRMC and ensuring that a proper and efficient system and facility exist for the storage, maintenance and retrieval of essential records generated and held by the Bank.
* Overseeing the process for the sourcing, acquisition, storage and retrieval of materials required by the customers of the Centre.
* Ensuring that all stakeholders are sensitized to the importance of proper records management and that the LRMC team and Records Liaison Officers (RLO) understand their responsibilities and possess the technical knowledge required to perform their functions.
* Initiating and managing special projects and developing the related policies and procedures.

Access to Information Act responsibilities include:
* Developing the operational polices and procedures to achieve compliance with the Access to Information Act (ATIA) and maintaining technical and legal knowledge of the Bank's obligations and...
