Business Development Executive
Most recently serving as a National Business Development Executive with Xerox Corporation in New York, business development executive Matt Mohwinkel managed relationships with major law firms and corporations involved in the global finance, energy, and pharmaceutical industries. Understanding the importance of a strong national network, he created a target account program that included business development executives, law firms, and corporations from major cities around the country. Before accepting his position at Xerox, Matt Mohwinkel acted as a National Business Development Director at Deloitte LLP, where he sold financial advisory services to Fortune 100 corporations and Am Law 100 firms. While at the firm, he established a solid team of business development managers and oversaw an international business development plan in accordance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).
A graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, Matthew Mohwinkel earned a Juris Doctor and secured certification in Westlaw and LexisNexis Training. He served as a Legal Intern for the United States Attorney’s Office for three years before transitioning to a career in information technology (IT) security. As a Systems Integrity Director at MCI Telecommunications Corporation, he guaranteed the safety of the corporation’s network infrastructure. During this period, Matt Mohwinkel also taught coursework on IT security through the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center. He later functioned as a Business Compliance Director at Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) and as a Business Development Manager at CaseCentral and LawVault. Before accepting his position at Deloitte, Matt Mohwinkel acted as National Legal Technology Services Director for the Merrill Corporation.
