Team player or a leader?
I find myself comfortable in both of these positions.
People who travelled with me as a Tourleader have reported positively about my performance (feedback from them can be found here goo.gl/IPBCE) so I guess I am pretty good at leading people :).
And I like to think, that this is not only connected to leading a group of travellers.
Several companies appointed me to managerial positions:
CMK s.r.o. based in Žarnovica had me as sales director
I.M.Partner s.r.o. based in Banská Bystrica used my skills as director
Via Carpathia s.r.o. used my skills as product developer
Estate & Events s.r.o engaged me as a negotiator
XPERIENCE journeys s.r.o. hired me as business development manager
But I found myself very happy working as a team member e.g. of a civic association KRTKo as a volunteer or at the very start of my professional life when I was member of the team of the association of villages in the Mikroregión Čierny Hron. Since than rural and regional development is my hobby and passion.
INTERNET is a tool I use every day. Both professionaly (promoting travel, artistic events, or friends´ enterpreneurial activities) and privately enjoying news from friends and family via social networks and emails.
PC APPLICATIONS that I use daily involve MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook...), Adobe photoshop and Pdf reader/editor, internet browsers Explorer, Mozilla, Chrome, and others connecting and synchronizing all my devices (mobile phone, tablet and my laptop).
Slovak - my mother tongue
Czech - almost a mother tongue
English - fluent both in speaking and typing
French - spoken fluently but not at an expert level...
Russian - read and spoken at a basic level
in German, Italian and Polish I can handle basics
I can easily imagine myself working for an Anglophone company or on an international project aimed at Central and Eastern Europe (Czech republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary)
