My name is Massam Al-Hajjaj, I have a Bachelor Degree in English Lingustics and Translation from Al-Turath University College (Iraq- Baghdad), I'm a member of the Iraqis translators Association.

I've been working as a translator/ interpreter since 1999. I translate different types of documents (medicale, science, real estates, literature, novels, news, sport,...etc.) from English to Arabic and vice versa.

I worked as a tutor in English Grammar for high school students in Syria for more than 2 years. And, I translated some of law books for students of university of law in Syria.

Beside translation, I have more than 6 years experience in administration and data entry.

I'm looking for clients who are intrested in my career as a translator and data entry to work from home. I guarantee satisfaction with the work.

- Kiwan Publishing House

From July 2006

Worked as a translator for a publishing house translating articles, books and documents from English to Arabic. As an interpreter to communicate between some foreign customers and the Arabian staff, including booking for book fair, appointments and publishing inquires.


- Al-Etihad Newspaper

From June 2003

Worked for a daily Iraqis Newspaper providing translation from different websites from English to Arabic in different subjects (medical, sport, news,..etc.).

Traqnslator/ interpreter

- The American Force

From May 2003

Worked for the American forces as an interpreter and translator. The job required escorting the forces visiting some Iraqis families helping them to understand what the forces need and want from them. Translate documents from English to Arabic.

Translator/ Interpreter/ Administrative Assistant

- Al-Qimmam translation agency:

From September 1999

Worked freelance for a translation agency providing a translation and interpretation service to clients where needed. Involved converting documents and articles from Arabic to English (vice versa) and ensuring that the finished converted articles relay the intended message as clearly as possible.
As I worked as an administrative assistant doing the following duties:
•Receive/forward phone calls and electronic inquiries.
•Photocopy and caller documents for distribution, mailing and filing.
•Prepare documentation for shipping and packages.
•Arrange for billing for services, receive payments and issue receipts.
•Prepare periodic and special reports.
•Oversee and review all correspondences with international companies.
