low glycemic index (GI) diets

the best and healthiest way to loose weight is hidden it the low GI concept. this diet mostly focus on starches in the diet. starches include foods like bread, rice, potatoes, pastas and cereals. there are 3 different types of starches in the GI concept: low, intermediate and high GI. when you eat foods with a high GI it means that the food digests fast and releases sugar fast into the blood stream and then if that sugar is not used for energy, it gets stored as fat which also means that you get hungry more quickly. with low GI foods the food is harder to digest, and releases sugar much slower into the blood stream, and your body then uses that sugar during the day, and doesnt store it as fat. so at the end of the day you feel fuller for longer.when replacing your high and intermediate GI foods with low GI foods, you can start your healthy weightloss prosess.
