I have been the lead elementary teacher in a multi-age, alternative school for the past nine years. I also plan the curriculum and alternative assessment portfolios, which include not only the Vermont Standards, but each student's IEP goals. I have
attended the VTAP Conference for the past two years as a scorer for 3/4 reading portfolios.
I am a visual learner, which makes me a visual teacher. I have created many hands-on activities to illustrate the skills my students are practicing.
