Marvelous Jubane

Johannesburg, Gauteng, South Africa

Good day

I am a seasoned, young and dynamic BCom Economics and Econometrics graduate and also a Bcom Honours Economics graduate from the University of Johannesburg.

I graduated from the University of Johannesburg in May 2012 for my undergraduate studies in Bcom Economics and Econometrics.

During my studies in Bcom Economics and Econometrics I acquired the following skills;

1. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

2 . Ability to analyze and interpret Economic and Statistical data to help management in making decisions that will maximize profits and minimize costs.
3. How to conduct research on Economic topics especially in my studies of Bcom Honours in Economics. This involved development of Econometric models in order to support Economic theory.
An example would be the case of Consumption expenditure being influenced by the level of disposable income of consumers and their level of savings that they stored in the bank

The model will be of this nature: Consumption (C) =a+(B1)Y+ (B2)S+u

Where a is the intercept of this Econometric model or equation,
B1 is the coefficient of Disposable income
Y is the disposable income
B2 is the coefficient of Savings variable which is the slope coefficient of the equation
u is the error term that represents all variable that impact the level of consumption of individuals in the economy which are not included in the model.

This above model or equation can be used to help managers in decisions that will maximize profits and minimize costs
