Excellent Communication Skills; Both Verbal and Written

I have worked with people all of my work life. I have developed an ability to communicate well on a personal level and in terms of public speaking in teaching and training small and large groups of people.

Work History

Vinelife UK

From September 2008

Transitioned into a focus on trans-local support of local church pastors in the UK, USA, Africa and Eastern Europe. This involves travelling and speaking at training events in other countries as well as a continued emphasis on local training opportunities in the Manchester area and beyond.

Assistant Pastor

Vineyard Christian Fellowship, Fort Collins, Colorado, USA

March 1989 - September 1989

A transitional role - mainly receiving training in various aspects of church planting in
preparation for future church planting endeavours in the UK and developing a five-year plan for future role.

Senior Pastor

Vineyard Christian Fellowship, Manchester

September 1989 - September 2008

Started a church plant in Manchester - growing from a small group of 11 people to a large church with a multi-faceted ministry base. Crucial to the development of the church was its emphasis on small-group development. An important aspect of the church as it evolved was the development of strategic training tracks - including the Kingdom Life Academy - which offers training for all aspects of leadership, church planting and pastoral ministry in the church.

Also assisted in the pioneering and development of Vineyard Churches - a large group of UK churches focusing on reaching out to un-churched people groups.
